I'm not familiar with this author and would not have given it a second look based on the title.

Is there anything about knitting in it??? *scratches head*Nicola O.https://www.blogger.com/profile/13947359287796827837noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7348815.post-70147212652551223962010-03-19T13:28:19.155-06:002010-03-19T13:28:19.155-06:00Ridgway is always surprising me with how well she ...Ridgway is always surprising me with how well she balances the light and dark aspects of human nature.

Like Wendy, I had some quibbles with this book, but overall I enjoyed it. I've since gone on a Ridgway glom, so she must be doing something right.

And now that I've read this review, I feel the need to re-read.Hollyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09750929058018343501noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7348815.post-65505277046321897962010-03-18T18:03:08.273-06:002010-03-18T18:03:08.273-06:00I liked this one quite a bit, but did have a few q...I liked this one quite a bit, but did have a few quibbles with it. Jay set off my Douchebag Alarm (he always seemed to be shirtless and OMG - stop calling the heroine "cookie"!!!!) and Nikki had so much baggage that it felt over-the-top after a while.

But....

I really enjoyed Ridgway's writing style. I really liked the secondary romance, although I questioned Shanna's emotional stability there at the end, and I thought the trilogy was set up well. I am quite interested in reading Cassie and Gabe's book - just haven't gotten to it yet! And when Nikki told Jay about... well, also wow.

I actually read Dirty Sexy Knitting first after I won an ARC. It was so good I had to go out and buy the first two. Then I had to read Dirty Sexy Knitting again to savour the lurve. That one and this are tying for my favourites in this series. I did enjoy Unravel Me, but just not quite as much as the other two.

OMG, If you think Nikki is tortured - wait until you get a load of Cassie & Gabe!!!Kaetrinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16936055488367251592noreply@blogger.com
