I read an earlier one of hers (I think Fools Rush In, but I can't remember) where the hero is the heroine's ex-brother in law. With a kid. Does that make her Auntie Mom? It's just a bit too squicky for me.Katehttp://twitter.com/katydidinoznoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7348815.post-24399422633893843252010-05-28T17:57:44.395-06:002010-05-28T17:57:44.395-06:00I liked this one too! I actually didn't have a problem with him walking out a second time, because I don't see it being in conflict with the idea that at the time their relationship developed, Andrew really did believe he loved the sister. He could have really convoluted commitment issues or attention-seeking behavior or something.

No, what bothered me more was the sister herself - I couldn't abide the astronomic degree to which others kept bending over backwards to appease her. I also had trouble with the degree of pet dog worship going on. But those were minor issues that didn't ruin my enjoyment of the big picture.M.https://www.blogger.com/profile/07498466631016466048noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7348815.post-74040004069157954712010-05-24T14:03:29.566-06:002010-05-24T14:03:29.566-06:00Yeesh. . . that ending sounds very unsatisfying. ...Yeesh. . . that ending sounds very unsatisfying. There was one I couldn't finish, Fools Rush In, but other than that one, I've really enjoyed her books - and I think Too Good to be True is my fave.Kristie (J)https://www.blogger.com/profile/15743921647882733738noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7348815.post-44629069805213916762010-05-23T06:19:31.625-06:002010-05-23T06:19:31.625-06:00I liked this one too. IIRC there is more of the hero in this one than in other books - partly this is because it's in first person POV, I think. I've read other books in 1st person which have had a lot more dialogue so I felt I really knew the other person but that doesn't tend to happen in KH novels unfortunately.Kaetrinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16936055488367251592noreply@blogger.com
