I've thought of skipping book club when books didn't appeal to me but figure that's defeating the whole purpose.Paydirthttp://www.eurekajoes.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7348815.post-74432396520328944232013-03-29T10:32:40.945-06:002013-03-29T10:32:40.945-06:00Favourites for two years running? It seemed so predictable and I usually have a hard time relating to Screwball Screwup Heroines that are so common in chicklit.. But I kept reading, and she became one of my favourite characters.AnimeJunehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18229748454410488167noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7348815.post-7994756322460737932013-03-29T04:15:02.213-06:002013-03-29T04:15:02.213-06:00I am so glad that you loved this book! Soooo, YAYYY this whole review gets a big YAY and makes me want to put a hold in for Me Before You at the library SOON. I loved this book so much. You're certainly right about the tone, as it avoids being too light-hearted and being too maudlin. I was also concerned in the first chapter to two about whether I would be interested in these people at all, but then Moyes grabbed me by the heart and didn't let go.Christinahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00370486039531015541noreply@blogger.com
