  3. Anonymous --> Well, Putney's "Mad Bad and Dangerous to Know" novella 2-in-1 in on my TBR pile, so watch out for that.

M --> Thank you! Hope you like reading my reviews!

Do you have any plans to read the latest Samantha James novel? I'd be curious what you make of it since most of the reviews I've seen have not been very positive.

  5. Not so far - I've had to put a ban on buying books until RWA (although I might cheat a little during my library's annual book fair), because my TBR pile is a little out of control.

ahaha who doesn't like cheap books?

i find all my books at thrift stores. i never go to the book store anymore. theres like millions of romances to be found at salvation army, goodwill, and places like that where books are usually a dollar or less :]

  8. Sometimes when I reaaally love an author, I'll buy their books new (if I meet Mary Balogh at the Literacy Booksigning at RWA, you bet I'm buying her Huxtable books!), but recently I've been going to the used-bookstore by my university and trading in all the crap romances I read for store credit towards better romances. ^_^

This sale is going to be off the hook, though - 50 cents for paperbacks, or just bring 10 dollars and your own box. Niiice.

When I was in college, the branch library in my hometown sold paperbacks for 10 cents and hardcovers for 25 cents. Ah, how I miss those days! 50 cents is a good price too, but 10 cents is unbeatable.

Lately I've been buying used books more often than I did in the past. I'll buy the next two Eloisa James novels new, but I think the other 2009 releases I'm interested in I'll wait to buy used.
